GA-YES is a summer research program for rising juniors and seniors in Cherokee County to participate in 6 weeks of research with a Winship faculty member.
We are looking for mentors to help us with the professional development piece. While we are still working out the time commitment and role of mentors, I expect that mentors will meet with the students a few times throughout the summer to talk about transitioning to college, college applications, potential STEM paths in college, etc.
This form is just to express interest in participating. Either the project director or someone from the GSEI STEM Mentors club will be in touch.
