Data Detectives employs population-based Big Data to engage diverse middle school students in cancer research. Through a Problem-Based Learning curriculum, students learn to apply REAL data to solve REAL community health problems.

STEM Mentors

Our undergraduate club at Emory University, "GSEI", recruits students who assist in all our education and outreach programs. These students will then receive all the training and club support they need in order to mentor middle/ high school students and motivate an interest in STEM.

Community Program

Our community program, Using Big Data for Community-Based Cancer Control, proposes to develop a unique, innovative, state-of-the-art curriculum that addresses under-studied needs of community-based organizations (CBOs) in data science capacity.​
