Fall - Afterschool Program *

The fall Data Detectives ran from beginning of October through the first week of November. The program is currently closed. Please check back for more information for fall 2026 programs. ​

Spring - Afterschool Program *

The Data Detectives after school program will be occurring at Henderson Middle School and Tucker Middle School in spring 2026. It is expected to run from end of February through middle of April. Registration is now open. Click on the link below to apply. Applications are closed.

Data Detectives Big Data Summer Academy

Applications for Data Detectives Big Data Summer Academy 2025 are now closed. The Data Detectives Big Data Academy will be a 2 week program this summer occurring from June 8- June 18th. Applications are closed.

GA-YES Summer Research Program

The GA-YES summer research program will run from June 1 - July 21, 2026 (excluding the week of June 29-July 3rd). Applications for the summer research program  will be open from January 20-February 8, 2026.  Applicants must be from Cherokee County and at least 16 years old by June 1, 2026.  Applications are closed.

* To be eligible for the afterschool program, students must be currently enrolled at a participating middle school. A list of participating schools for both the Fall and Spring terms will be available soon.
