Fall - Afterschool Program *

The fall Data Detectives will occur at Druid Hills Middle School and Stone Mountain Middle School in fall 2026. It will likely occur from the end of September through the first week of November. Applications are now open. Please click on link below to apply, if you are a student at Druid Hills Middle School or Stone Mountain Middle School.

​Spring - Afterschool Program *

The spring Data Detectives after school program runs from the end of February through the middle of April. The program is currently closed. Please check back for more information for spring 2027 programs.

​​Data Detectives Big Data Summer Academy

Applications for Data Detectives Big Data Summer Academy 2025 are now closed. The Data Detectives Big Data Academy will be a 2 week program in summer 2027. Check back in January 2027 for more details.

GA-YES Summer Research Program

Applications are currently closed. The GA-YES summer research program will occur again in summer 2027.  Applications for the summer research program  will likely open at the end of January 2027.  Applicants must be from Cherokee County and at least 16 years old by June 1, 2027.

​​​* To be eligible for the afterschool program, students must be currently enrolled at a participating middle school. A list of participating schools for both the Fall and Spring terms will be available soon.
