Our Mission

Georgia Science Education Initiative (GSEI) works to provide meaningful health and data science education in the classroom and in the community.

Our Goals​

1. Increase diversity in STEM by motivating under-represented individuals & populations to pursue STEM careers through mentorship, research activities, and educational intervention. 

 

2. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs to meet the goal of motivating student interest in STEM. 

 

3. Provide meaningful training in big data research methods to improve community health literacy.
